BETRAYAL - A POWERFUL SOURCE
Beloved,
Is it not written in John 13:21..After saying these things, Jesus was
troubled in his spirit, and testified, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one
of you will betray me.” and also God answer to Jeremiah complaint in
Jeremiah 12:6....Your relatives, members of your own family—even they
have betrayed you;they have raised a loud cry against you.Do not trust
them,though they speak well of you....Jesus
answer to his disciples in Matthew 24:10 ...“And then many will fall
away and betray one another and hate one another.....And of friendship
in church....Psalm 55:12-14...If an enemy were insulting me,I could
endure it;if a foe were rising against me,I could hide.But it is you, a
man like myself,my companion, my close friend,with whom I once enjoyed
sweet fellowship at the house of God,as we walked about among the
worshipers....and of Personal friend...Psalm 41:9 ?Even my close friend,
someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me.
Betrayal is a powerful force against faith of intrinsic loyalty, hope
of trust not being violated,bonds of joy intently not broken, Trust is
the most vulnerable state of humans. While Betrayal is the vindictive
violation of trust, that infiltrate unnoticed to those who put their
trust in people. It is the disregard of the innocent heart, so fragilely
exposed to pride, greed, lust, anger, gluttony, envy and sloth.
Betrayal destroys trust, hope, joy, faith and loyalty . Trust and
loyalty can never be restored when betrayed. I have learnt through the
process of life journey, that ill attitude in people will come to light
in time, so I live my life by God's grace with the spirit of
discernment, and not to put my trust in people or the superficial, or a
system design to reward traitors and destroy the good in people who
foolishly give their trust away. A system designed by those who cannot
be trusted as in John 2:24.." But Jesus on his part did not entrust
himself to them, because he knew all people".
God's love is a
powerful key in overcoming the bitterness of betrayal and our God-given
ability to forgive the betrayer. When we choose to forgive someone, we
actually give that person a gift—the freedom from personal retaliation.
But you are also giving yourself a gift—a “grudge/hindrance -free life.”
In time God's vindication will come to be as “A false witness will not
go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape.” Trading
bitterness and anger for the love of God is a wonderful, life-giving
exchange that a betrayer can never fathom, to them is foolishness but to
the god fearing its wisdom. If you have experienced God’s love as I
have, only then can you understand what it means to be loved
unconditionally and undeservedly, and be able to give same freely to
others in that manner. In the process of life, be aware and focus on
God's purposeful WILL for your life, entwined with Jesus proactive
example, for he was fully aware of His purpose, but he allowed God's
hand of judgment and justice to prevail to fulfil the whole of the
Scriptures. In my precious moment, My Lord God, I honour you more today than my
yesterday for your word is assurance to your steadfast love and is no
false to your faithfulness in my life & family line. It is better to
take refuge in you than to trust in man. My trust in you, Lord has made
me like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forevermore in
your Wilful purpose in the journey of life. Knowing it is better to
trust in you my LORD than to put confidence in man for “Cursed is the
man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength. In fear of you my
God I Live daily as the fear of man lays a snare, but the comfort of
your embrace is safety to I as whoever trusts in you my Lord alone.You
keep me in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because I trust in
you alone. I will continue to the end of time allow God's hand of
judgment and justice to prevail to fulfilment of His wilful purpose for
my life as I put my Trust in you alone, my Lord forever, for you my Lord
God is an everlasting rock in my life & family line now than my
yesterdays & forevermore in Jesus mightiest name. ...Amen n Amen...
