  • For the relief of need and the protection and preservation of public health particularly amongst people living in Greater London who have suffered abuse by the provision of advice and counselling.

For Proverbs 11:14 Tells us that “where there is no counsel, the people perish, but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety”

We believe for your safety in our counsel at R.A.P. as a road to restoration, also for God to counsel us at R.A.P. to counsel you with wisdom, with HIS divine counsel.

  • To promote human rights (as set out in the universal declaration of Human rights and subsequent united nations conventions and declarations) by monitoring, raising awareness of abuse, obtaining redress and relieving need among the victims of abuse, promoting respect for human rights among individuals and corporations, eliminating infringements of human rights regionally and with international advocacy to address abuse in particular - spiritual abuse

1)      Counselling and Advice to the abused – 14yrs & above

2)      Taking referrals / Making Referrals to Specialist Agencies

3)      Mentoring youth from age 14yrs in partnership with schools/orgs.

4)      Hold Seminars/ Workshopsand training on all forms of abuse and

5)      Advocacy to Promote respect for human rights among individuals and corporations by monitoring, raising awareness of abuse, obtaining redress and relieving need among the victims of abuse, eliminating infringements of human rights and with advocacy to address abuse in particular - spiritual abuse within the Christian Community.

6)      Other Charitable activities / services to the relief of need and the protection and preservation of people who have suffered abuse, and liasing with other community services to provide support for our clients.

7)      Ministerial duties.

In our survey in Counselling service on abused victims and survivors, we have been able to identify that, in Greater London alone,

  • Within all cultures, that three in five women and three in ten men are abused daily,
  • a disproportionately large number of Black & Ethnic Minority group are undergoing physical, Emotional, sexual, Mental  & spiritual abuse, they are in confusion, in shame, and fear of more humiliation and whom to talk to, with an understanding of their cultural background.

In RAP Trust as a charitable “public body” in regulating, supervising and inspecting its performance, publicly accountable for its actions, charitable objectives, with statutory powers enforceable against the public, and to investigate and protect beneficiaries interest with rights and responsibilities confirmed in us to lawfully record as in relevance to our service provision (within or out of organisation) as stated in Data Protection Act 1998/Data Protection Act (GDPR 2018) and  the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA) to

·         Achieve our aims and objectives by standards of performance verification

·         Preventing and detecting abuse and discrimination

·         Comply with other regulations

·         Establish existence of facts and evidence of our service provision ; meetings within 

          and outside the organisation in which RAP is a part of..

·         Ensure regulatory compliance of other organisations and self-regulatory practices

·         Protect the lawful interest of RAP principal party (e.g. the person recording) consents

          to the recording
